PRESENTATION DAY
We are going to have a change this year and our presentation will be a family day barbeque. We will start with the traditional Parent V Players match kicking off a 10.30 Sunday 14th June at our home ground followed by the trophy presentation and barbeque for lunch. To end the day, we will have a game of rounders for everyone. There will be no charge for the event, we just ask that families bring their own food and drink on the day. Barbeques will be available for you to cook on and we can use the kitchen facilities in the pavillion for teas and coffees etc. There will be a bouncy castle and raffle (any donations of prizes are appreciated). This should be a great day and lets hope the weather will be kind to us.
ACLE TOURNAMENT

The weather was lovely and we got off to a brilliant start by winning our 1st 2 games. With a draw in our 3rd match, we were gauranteed a place in the semi finals. Although we could have done with a win or draw to finish top of the table, we were just happy to be going through and the Swindell A team were just too much for us, putting us 2nd. It was a shock when the Norman Boys were first to go into the final after golden goal extra time. I personally thought that the Swindell team would be in the final. We could have gone on if we had played against the Norman Lads like we did in our first match against them, but they had stepped up their game and we couldn't come back in time. A really good day with great play from everyone. Well done boys!
Well done Barry for managing to drink both cups of tea unlike me and Paul who could only cope with one and a half cups. You were just the best on the day. LOL...

GFC TOURNAMENT

Well done to everyone today. We had some tough games against all division 1 teams. Simon had to work especially hard as he played for both sides because we were short of players on the day. Thanks to the organisers for letting us continue and to the other teams for agreeing to it. I just wouldn't have been able to choose anyone to go home. I think we all enjoyed ourselves even though we didn't make it through.

Final game of the season.
Congratulations boys for a great win today against Waveney B. It was a close run at the end between 3 teams, but todays game has ensured us 2nd place. It was a really good team effort and everyone responded well to what was asked of them. You have all put in so much this season and with our new signings through the year, you have all got along together very well. Have a well earned rest and we will see you back at training on Wednesday 22nd April from 6-7pm. Fantastic Job!

Friendly
We played Oulton Mariners today in a friendly and it was a good game for both teams. There was a little rivalry with the Davies brothers, but it remained a friendly match. Ainsley had a great first half when he played up front instead of defence and scored 4 goals. Matty and Lewis H both got 2 each also. Dav would have liked to get a goal against his brothers team, but he did have a really good game in defence. Everyone seemed to have fun and it was nice to have a game instead of missing a match every other week. Hope your leg is ok Richard and that you will be ok to play the next match. Thank you to Aaron for making up the numbers. Your only under 10, but you did really well and kept going until the end even though you had already played this morning.
Good Luck next week boys. The end of the season is getting nearer and its still very close. Come on Wanderers!
